Fair Trading Consumer Information
The New South Wales Government, Department of Commerce, Office of Fair Trading has recently published a series of consumer information resources as audio files to assist people with print disability.
These audio publications contain useful consumer information on shopping and refunds, avoiding scams, buying or selling your home, strata schemes, retirement villages, buying a car, credit and loans, plus what to do when things go wrong. The information was adapted from the Seniors Guide and is useful for people of all ages.
You can download or listen online to any of the "Your home, your car, your money" audio publications by visiting the Office of Fair Trading website.
This information series is available in English only. However, there are also other audio and video resources in a range of community languages.
