Families Supporting Families membership base is made up of families with a child or children with a disability living in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the lower Hunter Region.
We are often the first point of contact for someone with a disabled child after receiving initial diagnosis or confirmation. We provide information and knowledge to other families who share similar situations to ourselves.
As a member, you will become a part of the FSF community. The membership fee is low and affordable at $10pa (renewed each April). The benefits of being a member are many; including bi-monthly newsletter, monthly carers cafe’s, family gatherings as well as informal and formal workshops.
As a new member, you will be joining a not-for-profit organisation that consists of families who support each other within our local community. You will be part of something inspiring and involving. Something that you can contribute to; share your story, your knowledge and experiences.

If you would like to become a member and receive newsletters and information on up-coming events, please phone or write to us and we will send a membership form and current newsletter to you. We are open to all parents, carers and families, regardless of diagnosis or severity of disabilities and special needs.
