- Strand A - Therapy Services:
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication based consultancy services to assess and provide intervention by assisting to set up, train, problem solve and manage issues relating to developing the individual's communication in a variety of settings (eg home, school, daycare, group home, work etc).
- Strand B - Online Training:
- We provide Certificate III & IV online training and/or distance education learning. Through this mode we offer a wide array of courses related to Augmentative and Alternative communication. Participants can learn about carrying out AAC assessments and providing intervention to individuals who are pre-intentional, intentional and symbolic communicators to develop their communication, literacy skills and provide positive behaviour support. These courses can be accredited by your own registered training organization.
- Strand C - Workshops:
- We provide specialist workshops catering to the needs of your own organization. These workshops focus on how to use a variety of AAC strategies to develop communication skills, literacy skills and positive behaviour support for individuals who are pre-intentional, intentional and symbolic. Training related to providing communication support for individuals with specific disorders e.g. hearing impairment, visual impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder are provided.
- Strand D - Newsletter/Magazine Column:
- We can contribute to your own newsletters/magazines by providing up to date and useful information related to AAC.
- Strand E - Resources:
- We have published a number of disability related resources that are useful for anyone working with individuals with disabilities and they include books, training manuals and a picture library program.
